Vintage Raleigh Bicycle Restoration

Description

This is a circa 1970s Raleigh SL sport coaster single speed gentleman's bike. I picked this up in pretty bad shape from a guy on Bribie Island in Queensland. It's all original bar the seat (now a Brooks), rims (now 700c after a rebuild with the original Sturmey Archer hubs), the paint and the timber grips. All re-chromed to satin and re-finished in pale blue.

I love the original solid rubber block pedals, classic Raleigh logo chain ring and the way the tires fill the guards on this bike.
